The Financial Times insists on referring to Tomáš Prouza as the CR's Europe minister, because the newspaper's style guide says it should, but Czech TV knows better. The station asked Prouza on Sat. whether it's his place as an unelected civil servant to criticize David Cameron on Twitter. A visibly shaken Prouza said he didn't fully understand the question and doesn't know why anyone should be prevented from commenting on anything. This isn't the first time Prouza has served as Bohuslav Sobotka's attack dog. We wrote in July of last year about his barbs on Twitter against First Vice PM Andrej Babiš, who is at least theoretically one of his bosses. Prouza is by no means a minister, but he clearly wants to be. His chances of replacing Jan Mládek at Industry have all but evaporated for now, but he can still hope that Milan Chovanec will slam the door at the interior ministry in protest over Sobotka's overly receptive stance on refugees.
