Laws are supposed to protect the weak, but it doesn't always work out that way. If anyone needs protecting right now, it is poor ČSSD. It's under attack from all sides, esp. ANO. Andrej Babiš stated over the weekend that ČSSD is weighed down by a controversial past, which is something you usually say of ex-cons or ladies of the night. Then his development minister, Karla Šlechtová, wrote on Facebook that the ČSSD governments were behind many of the problems with EU funding in 2007-2013 and that she's going to keep the details in her safe. When ex-MP Otto Chaloupka wrote something similar on Facebook about another minority ("Decent people have been tolerating your theft, aggression and unjustified demands for too long"), he was slapped with a six-month suspended prison sentence. If there were any justice in this world, Šlechtová would be arrested for threatening and extorting a defenseless minority. [Czech Republic VV European Union money]
