The Left offers a broad choice in these Czech elections, but what's a poor center-right voter supposed to do? Forgive and forget and unconditionally give either ODS or TOP 09 another try? Opt for Andrej Babiš's ANO or Tomio Okamura and Vít Bárta's Úsvit/Dawn and hope they turn out after the elections to be more center-right than self-centered and autocratic? Or perhaps go for the "calm force" of KDU-ČSL and see where that leads? One idea getting some traction is to vote for TOP 09 with the specific goal of backing Agent 009 (Karel Schwarzenberg) in his battle for world dominion with Ernst Blofeld (Miloš Zeman) but denying Miroslav Kalousek the chance to continue guiding the action from a parliamentary bench. Crossing out Kalousek consists of circling four of those who follow him on TOP 09's ticket. Even if it worked, Kalousek would no doubt continue to pull the strings in the party. However, it would send a strong signal that although a few leading politicians have discredited the Right, the voters on the Right are still alive and kicking.
