Lenka Bradáčová, who takes over as supreme state prosecutor tomorrow, is a product of the same American structures as Pres. Petr Pavel and Army Chief of Staff Karel Řehka. Bradáčová rose to the top through hard work and skill, but also by always knowing whom to please and whom to go after. In Sept. 2019, Petr Fiala suggested that Andrej Babiš's government had rigged the Stork's Nest case to Babiš's benefit while Bradáčová was overseeing it as senior Prague prosecutor. Now that Fiala is in power, questions arise about why Bradáčová is finally taking down a politically sidelined hospital director who has allegedly been stealing for 25 years but is being easy on people linked to the ruling coalition. These include the real masterminds behind the PDZ, Dosimeter, IKEM and Brno-apartment cases. Bradáčová got to the top by practicing what looks like selective justice for personal and geopolitical reasons. Now that she's there and U.S. priorities have shifted, maybe Czech justice can go blind for a change. [ Czech Republic president United States credit union clinic Motol Miloslav Ludvík ]
