For decades, green has been the color of the Greens. The Pirates, who considered the Green Deal a unique opportunity for the Czech economy, adopted green as one of the colors of the PirStan coalition in the 2021 elections. The parties of the Spolu coalition (ODS, TOP 09, KDU-ČSL) have no historical link to green but have now chosen it as one of their three campaign colors, along with apricot and light grey/blue. Green might make sense if Spolu were emphasizing its environmental policies, or even as Green Deal defiance, but there's no mention of the Green Deal or the environment in the new coalition agreement. The closest Spolu comes is the support it promises for "rural development and sustainable agriculture as key pathways to food security and sovereignty." All told, ODS, TOP 09 and KDU now have 7-8 colors associated with their own identities or with Spolu.
