Where is the StB when you need it? If agent Ludvík Zifčák and his Independent Students' Association had organized the protest against Miloš Zeman on Mon., it might have achieved the desired result and caused a real revolution. As it stands, it's not really clear what the objective was. To force Zeman to resign? To wash his mouth out with soap for using four-letter words? Or perhaps to bring Czech foreign policy in from the cold? If Zeman's Russian-friendly foreign policy was the main sore point with protesters, shouldn't Bohuslav Sobotka have also been the target of raw eggs? His government sets foreign policy, yet he personally has gone before Parliament to call for giving Russia a veto over EU and Nato enlargement. Zeman is playing the same destabilization role for the Russians in the CR as the separatists are in Ukraine. If Sobotka were Poroshenko, he would cluster-bomb the Castle, figuratively speaking. to wash someone's mouth out with soap - (literally or figuratively) to punish someone (usually a child) for using bad language;
four-letter word - any of several short words referring to sexual or excretory functions, regarded as coarse or offensive;
to come in from the cold - to become part of a group to which one did not belong or was not allowed to belong;
sore point - a subject or issue about which someone feels distressed or annoyed;
cluster bomb - a bomb that releases a number of projectiles on impact to injure or damage personnel and vehicles.
