The CR is turning into a rather boring little European country, and the press media is looking for new ways to keep readers excited. Some publications are turning more to foreign news. MF Dnes has gone the route in its business section of less hard news and more consumer reports. After having concentrated for years on a hundred or so "celebrities," many publications are running a greater variety of human-interest stories. Instinkt magazine chose the 50 Most Eligible Bachelors, with Karel Schwarzenberg and Gabriel Eichler topping the list and several fresh faces making an appearance (Tomas Spurny, Jiří Devát, Jakub Železný, etc.). After all these years, singer Karel Gott is still the most-mentioned name in the press, according to Newton IT, but he tied for only 14th on Instinkt's list of bachelors. Sometimes too much exposure is a turnoff.
